Its holiday time! Which usually means, lots of candy and desserts, parties and shopping, pretty lights and decorations! It can also mean lots of sales on all your favorite products!
Teachers Pay Teachers is having a site wide sale on Cyber Monday and Tuesday (November 27 & 28). So everything in my store will be up to 25% off. I just recently posted a couple Thanksgiving themed resources that are also sold in a bundle, all together, for anyone looking for last minute ideas for their classrooms or lessons this week. Turkey Trot is a a collection of games for recorder, flute, or piano to reinforce the letter names of notes on the staff and on the piano, and also fingerings for notes on recorder and flute.
For Christmas and winter themed activities, I have already posted one called Decorate a Christmas Tree! These 3 resources are sold separately and also in a bundle. One of them focuses on dynamics (loud and soft). another focuses on tempos (fast and slow), and the third focuses on different note types and how many beats each kind of note gets. These activities can be done with an entire class, an individual student, or in small groups or centers, and have options for different levels of students.
Another winter themed resource, that I haven’t posted yet is called Snowball Fight. There are 2 activities that will be sold separately as well as in a bundle. There is a rhythm version and a solfege version. Students get to practice their rhythm counting, or solfege singing, and listening skills all while throwing snowballs! Not real snowballs, of course, but either paper ones or ping pong balls (which is what I use). And of course, my kids love anything that has competition! This resource isn’t posted on my store yet but will be available in time for the sale next Monday.
